
In 2015, Plugg's founder Brian Samson relocated from San Francisco to Argentina, scaling a FinTech startup to over 85 team members. The company built a software development team and all the supporting functions in Buenos Aires, and it opened up his eyes to this amazing and untapped local labor force. In subsequent years, Plugg added Ruben Santana a 30-year staffing executive, who had lived & worked in Monterrey, MX as an Ex-Pat, running a large & successful nearshoring operation.
Between Mexico, Argentina, and dozens of other LATAM countries; Plugg has placed hundreds of talented candidates with growing U.S. companies. Plugg has the payroll infrastructure, leadership, and recruiting capabilities to transform companies through labor arbitrage.

Ruben Santana
President
With over 25 years in the staffing industry, Ruben has led a diverse career. He has worked for major corporations such as AT&T and The Coca- Cola Company where he led a World Wide support team. During that time, Ruben’s focus was within the Latin American region.
In 1995 Ruben entered the IT Staffing industry where he helped grow a company from $1million to $65 million in revenue, eventually moving into the role of COO. Ruben owned his own company before selling it in 2010 and since then, has led Nearshore/Offshore delivery teams in several countries including living 2 years in Monterrey, Mexico. He has also developed and sold RPO On-Demand recruiting solutions.
Ruben is passionate about helping companies find the talent they need and while also promoting the value of Nearshore IT to help US-based companies.
Brian Samson
Founder
Prior to Plugg, Brian was a 4x head of talent to VC funded companies, in addition, Brian has built multiple successful nearshoring firms focused on providing senior recruiters and engineers to tech companies.
He has a passion for business and helping growth stage companies scale, having raised $2M himself. Brian holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management

Fede Giovannacci
Federico studied Industrial Engineering and it´s certified as a Python developer. He has dedicated his entire career to HR, starting out as a sourcer, and today he´s involved in the complete cycle of recruitment.
Fede has covered US, LATAM, EU and Asian markets, from Healthcare to Oil & Gas industries, IT is his field of expertise. He has also managed teams of 7+ people (Including 2 tech recruiters & sourcers).
Jason Campos
Operations Manager
Jason has over 12 years of experience leading teams, including managing accounts of 90+ nearshore technical and non-technical specialists with Concentrix in Central America, supporting US companies.
Throughout his career, he has optimized the back office, set up infrastructure, and worked on team engagement, metrics, and payroll across multiple countries within LATAM.
